Apologetics to the Glory of God

Dustin Segers and Sye Ten Bruggencate on the Fundamentally Flawed Podcast

Sye TenBruggencate and Dustin Segers were on the Fundamentally Flawed podcast to discuss issues of God’s existence, the Christian Worldview and the Atheist Worldview. Dustin does a great job laying the debate out on the table in the first 20 minutes, but not only that, he leaves the hosts of Fundamentally Flawed without an excuse. Enjoy.

I don’t think Sye and Rhology will be hurt by this comment, but I had never heard Dusman before and that was one of the clearest presentations of the Christian worldview that I’ve heard. He was overly prepared and had quick, very good responses. He also made sure he was able to finish his points without being interrupted. Oustanding discussion. I’m glad I gave that podcast one more week.

This was an excellent podcast. It laid everything out on the table. I love how God glorifying this apologetic is. God is not put on trial. It shows the autonomy of unbelieving thought. I loved how to the point this podcast was. Certainly Van Til was spot on when talking about the philosophy of fact and that comes out in this podcast.

GKE gives no offense when he correctly says that Dusman did awesome on the podcast, far awesomer than I did.

Pretty rough for the hosts. T’was pretty bleak when one of them said they had no theory of truth.

Tu quoque is not necessarily a logical fallacy. In fact, sometimes it’s the proper move to make. That’s a minor quibble, nothing like the quibbles I have with the atheists who clearly have no clue what they’re doing.

On tu quoque, read this paper by Douglas Walton:
