A Brief Response to Atheist Rosa Rubicondior’s Conspiracy Theory
Conspiracy theories abound amongst atheists in the UK. Take as one example Rosa Rubicondor, a woman who describes herself as a “centre-left atheist humanist.” Rosa Rubicondior is a fundamentalist atheist whose Internet presence is dedicated almost exclusively to spewing vitriolic absurdities toward Christians. Today she tweeted at Choosing Hats to ask, “Still routinely deleting answers from #Atheists so u can claim they aren’t posting any?” (https://mobile.twitter.com/RosaRubicondior/status/149173040746475520)

Once upon a time I wrote to Paul S. Jenkins in a comment on his blog and said, “Any time you are willing to debate, ‘Theology is Piffle’ let me know!” In response he asks, “Is it worth debating?” Answering his own question, he writes, “Probably not, because in order to ‘debate’ sensibly about something, both sides must be clear that they are discussing the same thing.”

Sometimes the term “magic bullet” or “silver bullet” comes up in discussions of Van Tilian apologetic methodology. The term is typically if not always used in a negative sense in reference to transcendental argument. Its use is not limited to any particular attitude toward Van Tilian apologetics.
