Bye, Bye, BritBaird
It looks as though Paul Baird is “calling it quits” at least until January. Of course, that’s assuming he takes the New Year to be January, and not February. In a debate with Sye TenBruggencate he claimed that a pagan god revealed to him that the New Year actually begins in February.
In his Saturday, 27 August 2011 post titled “and in the end” Paul Baird complains of “the same old tired arguments” between atheists and theists being repeated. In response he has quit posting at a number of online forums including Open University, AAPlus, and Premier Christian Radio. He …

Ben the Agnostic…uh…Atheist…uh…Whatever Means I Don't Have Anything to Prove!
There is a somewhat humorous exchange between Ben and Paul here. I have posted it below. As you can see, Ben has resorted to just sticking his head in the sand with respect to the problem. Ben is aware of the difficulties with defending an atheist position and I think uncomfortable that his agnosticism is likewise untenable. Note again two of his statements from my debate with him and tell me if he has a clue what his position even is.
“I’m an agnostic, in particular, of the negative atheist variety, by which I mean that I
neither believe … -

Should Presuppositionalists Be Taken Seriously?
While digging through ancient discussions on the Internet concerning presuppositional apologetics I came across what is posted below. It is written by an “ex-Van Tilian” who is a friend of mine, and though I do not endorse what is said in the post (at least not all of it) it may be of some interest, provide a critical look at this method from another perspective, or provide fodder for future posts. Enjoy.
…Allow me to offer a theistic perspective on this issue (of whether presuppositionalists should be taken seriously).
I believe that if they really want to be “taken seriously”

(Sort of) A Debate Announcement
Some of the readers may not know about a “counter apologetics” podcast called “Truly Free” or “Goodness Over God” by Ben Wallis and Michael Long. It is available at http://goodnessovergod.blogspot.com
Readers are familiar with Ben Wallis already (or if you are not, then Search for his name on our site), but probably not Michael Long. Michael is another well-spoken unbeliever and holds an MA in Philosophy. Some clips of Michael from the podcast are included below. Make sure to listen to them in their entirety, or else you will miss an important announcement at the end. You may also be …
